I'm hoping that we can have a polite, mutually respectful political discussion, as we have a wide spectrum of thoughtful folks here..

Uh, the investigation was requested by Orrin Hatch. Gee, why is HE spending his time worrying about this.

When life hands you melons, you might be dyslexic.

There's some real lame stuff in there too. Not as good as either previous times people have done stuff like that nor nearly as good as the ample material out there that they had to work with.

The Justice Department is supposed to be non-political and generally listens to the concerns of Senators when asked, regardless of their party affiliation.

However, I understand how "supposed to be non-political" probably won't resonate with an erstwhile supporter of the DumbFuck Admin.

And FWIW, there are legitimate anti-trust concerns about how the BCS system distributes hundreds of millions of dollars in annual bowl payouts for alleged "amateur athletics," separate and apart from the issue of whether some undefeated WAC team could compete with the top of the SEC.

BLACK DIRT, LIVE AGAIN! Support your local economy. In every deliberation we must consider the impact on the seventh generation... even if it requires having skin as thick as the bark of a pine.

((( Irv ))) tough couple days for your ilk.

they'll just go to their basements and read each others blogs till one of 'em gets lucky again

hasn't been tough for me at all. nor for the gop. see, you confuse words with actions. obama made a couple of speeches. big deal, they will amount to nothing as usual. i saw some pundit on mslsd i think, a few weeks ago, saying, can you imagine the gop with a filibuster-proof majority not passing their president's signature piece of legislation? and of course it's unimaginable. but with the circular firing squad you call a party and with a leader who doesn't or is unable to lead it's not unimaginable, it's predictable.

in other words:

Breitbart is masterful; O'Keefe is a hero and a victim

Obama got schooled in Balt by the erudite GOP

Authoritarian blind allegiance to The Leader is preferable to representative democracy -- after all this is America!
