    The Dead

The Spring 2009 lineup for this edition of The Dead will be the same one that rocked the house at Penn State last fall at the Obama benefit: The Core Four of Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, joined by guitar monster Warren Haynes and RatDog keyboard ace Jeff Chimenti (both veterans of the 2004 Dead "Wave That Flag" tour). The mood of the band for this Spring Fling is way up, so it’s sure to be a great tour!

http://www.Dead.net will be your official hub for ALL news about the tour, including dates and ticket info... and perhaps even a few surprises along the way!

"He is tall, rich, good looking, stupid, dishonest, conceited, a bully, liar, drunk and thief, an egomaniac, and probably psychotic. In short, highly attractive to women. "

Phil's own thing: He's the leader

"Information is not knowledge. Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is not truth. Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not Love. Love is not music. Music is the best." - Mary aka the girl from the bus

Coming soon, hey another day in paradise, au teatre presque moi

But the great majority fall somewhere in between, neither believing this group represents a new pinnacle of any sort nor feeling any deep resentment at what must be considered a somewhat odd choice of players.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing this band.

But I also believe in the magic in a young (but legal) girl's heart.

At my age, she'd need to be well beyond legal.

Coming soon, hey another day in paradise, au teatre presque moi

well, fwiw, with my pending legal status she'd need to be my g/f (haven't quite embraced the "f" word yet...)

the eloquent profanity, it rolls right off my tongue

are you trying to convince yourself?

Coming soon, hey another day in paradise, au teatre presque moi

:) no, I'm pretty convinced. but the word fiance (like most French words) is so damned clumsy sounding coming off my VA tongue.

That goes without saying, Travis.

"But I lost the ring"

Listening to 11/15/02:

I: Jam > Let It Grow > Milestones > New Potato Caboose > Drums > Cryptical Envelopment > All Along the Watchtower

The worst that this lineup had to offer.

"It's my lightnin'...it's frightenin'...damn rightenin" -- Bob Weir
